UNESCO has listed 43 heritage sites of Italy in the list of world’s list of heritage sites. Italy is famous worldwide for luxury cars, motorcycles and shopping, fashion, beautiful coasts, lakes, waterways and Alps and Apennines Mountains. Two of the largest islands Sicily and Sardinia and independent mini-states Vatican City and San Marino are part of Italy. Beautiful and culturally diverse cities Rome, Venice, Florence, Naples, Pisa and Milan appear in the itinerary of all the international tourists.

Italy has laid out excellent tourist infrastructure in Air. International carrier Alitalia and other small and low cost carriers connect major cities of Italy to every part of the earth. Italy has the finest waterways with luxury cruise liners, waterbuses, water taxis and Gondolas. Italy has the classiest and reliable railway system and network with Eurostar, Tbiz and other high-speed trains and luxurious trains.

Italy offers excellent accommodation choices for tourist, however the budget needs to be stretched little bit higher to get decent place to sleep overnight. Hostels, bed and breakfast, vacation rentals, guesthouses, apartment hotels and monasteries are few alternatives if you are traveling with a limited budget. Thermal spas, star hotels, farm holidays, themed holidays and villa rentals are suitable for tourists with high-end and luxurious lifestyle.
